Chag Ha Matzot | חג המצות
For those who do not know, the Portion name comes from the first word or words of the portion in Torah. This week, Shabbat Hag HaMatzot, is translated as “Sabbath of Unleavened Bread.”
The Feast of Unleavened Bread starts after Passover and lasts for seven days. The counting of the omer (one per day) to 50 starts the first day after the shabbat during this feast.
